Campus
Lead your college. Do not collect a brief.
Lead. Connect. Learn. Represent the learning programme, not the chambers’ client work.
A campus ambassador is an LL.B. or LL.M. student who has joined, started the weeks, and been accepted by Yeshwant Legal Associates to tell other students about this desk. It is voluntary. It is not required for the twelve weeks. It is not a scheme to bring legal work, and nobody is paid for an introduction.
What you may do
Tell fellow students
Share the join link. A referral counts when that student finishes a college profile, not when the link is only opened.
Keep a college page
One page for the college, for reading and study. Not for a client’s papers.
Hold a discussion
On the week, or on a published note. Not on a live file.
Pass back what students say
What is unclear, and what would help the next batch.
What you may not do
- Advise a person, or say what the result of a case will be.
- Quote a fee, or negotiate one.
- Say that you appear, or that the chambers have accepted a brief.
- Ask for a client’s papers, or put them in a college group.
What follows, if you are accepted
You work with the college page and your own invite link. A digital participation record is issued only when the stated steps of that programme are done. Joining, or applying, does not itself print a certificate.
