Terms and conditions
In force 2 October 2026. Yeshwant Legal Associates, Churchgate, Mumbai.
YLA Legal Network is operated by Yeshwant Legal Associates, Churchgate, Mumbai. The chambers site is ylaworks.com. These terms cover the network, the learning weeks, the community, invite links, and the legal-assistance form.
The network is a place to learn, share professional notes, connect with other members, and, where a lawyer agrees, assist under supervision. It is not a marketplace for clients, and it is not a promise of work, a brief, or a fee.
Creating an account, reading a week, posting a note, opening an invite link, or sending the assistance form does not make anyone your advocate. No advocate–client relationship arises until a lawyer of the chambers accepts a matter in writing. A student or a junior member does not give legal advice on this network.
You give a true name, a working email, and the details your role asks for. A role is fixed when the account is created. You keep your login to yourself. An administrator may suspend an account that posts a client’s papers, a fee, or a promise of a result.
Notes, questions, case-law reading, and practice checklists are welcome. Do not post a client’s name, a document from a live matter, a fee, or a promise of an outcome. You keep the rights in what you write, and you allow the network to show it to the audience you chose.
Your invite link records who joined through you. A referral is counted when that student completes a college profile, not when the link is only opened. There is no commission, no ranking for reward, and no payment for an introduction. Do not describe the link as a way to get a client.
If you apply as a campus ambassador, link a college, or join a college community, the chambers keep your college, course, year, the statement you wrote, and any student identifier you choose to give. That record is used to review the application and to count a verified referral. It is not a licence to advise or to solicit work. You may ask for the application to be closed by writing to yeshwantlaw@gmail.com.
The form is a request. The chambers may use the name, email, mobile, city, and facts you give to verify who is asking and to let a lawyer decide whether any assistance is appropriate. Many requests end with no engagement. That is a complete outcome. Nothing on the form promises a hearing, a result, a fee, or representation.
The assistance form asks for consent before anything is stored. The purpose is identification, verification, screening, and a lawyer’s decision. The information is not sold and is not used for promotional messages. You may ask for access, correction, or erasure, or withdraw consent, by writing to yeshwantlaw@gmail.com. Withdrawal does not undo screening already done.
These terms are read with the laws of India. Questions about the network go to Yeshwant Legal Associates, Rajmahal Building, Veer Nariman Road, near Ambassador Hotel, Churchgate, Mumbai, or to yeshwantlaw@gmail.com. The chambers may update these terms. The date on this page is the date of the text you are reading.
Yeshwant Legal Associates, Churchgate, Mumbai, collects your name, email, mobile number, city, and what you write in this form. The purpose is only to identify you, verify that email and mobile, screen the request, and let a lawyer decide whether assistance can be offered. The information is not sold and is not used for promotional messages. It is kept while the request is open and for so long as a record of that screening is needed. You may ask for access, correction, or erasure, or withdraw this consent, by writing to yeshwantlaw@gmail.com. Withdrawal does not undo screening already done. This consent is sought under the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
